Author Warranties. Each Author and Copyright Owner represents and warrants to AIP Publishing the following:
Author Warranties. You hereby warrant that you have secured the necessary written permission from the appropriate copyright owner or authorities for the reproduction in the Article and in the Journal of any text, illustration, or other material. You warrant that, apart from any such third party copyright material included in the Article, the Article is your original work, and does not infringe the intellectual property rights of any other person or entity and cannot be construed as plagiarising any other published work. You further warrant that the Article is not currently under submission to, nor is under consideration by or has been accepted by any other journal or publication, nor has been previously assigned or licensed by you to any third party. Without prejudice to the provisions of Clause 3 above you undertake that the fully reference-linked version of scholarly record will not be published elsewhere without our prior written consent.
Author Warranties. The Author warrants to the Publisher that:
i) the Contribution is original, has not been previously published and that the Author is proprietor of the Contribution;
ii) the Author is the owner of all rights, and legally able to transfer said rights in the Contribution to the Publisher and said rights are not subject to any interference;
iii) the Contribution does not contain any matter which is obscene, libelous, unlawful, and does not infringe any third party’s copyright or copyright from the Author’s other works; and
iv) the Contribution does not violate privacy rights of any person or organization.
Author Warranties. The Author represents and warrants that the Article is original, that it has not been published, that the copyright interest is owned by the Author (or, if more than one author is listed at the beginning of this Agreement, by such authors collectively) and has not been assigned, licensed, or otherwise transferred to any other party. The Author represents and warrants that the author(s) listed at the top of this Agreement are the only authors of the Article. If more than one author is listed at the top of this Agreement and if any such author has not entered into a separate Article License Agreement with JoVE relating to the Article, the Author represents and warrants that the Author has been authorized by each of the other such authors to execute this Agreement on his or her behalf and to bind him or her with respect to the terms of this Agreement as if each of them had been a party hereto as an Author. The Author warrants that the use, reproduction, distribution, public or private performance or display, and/or modification of all or any portion of the Article does not and will not violate, infringe and/or misappropriate the patent, trademark, intellectual property or other rights of any third party. The Author represents and warrants that it has and will continue to comply with all government, institutional and other regulations, including, without limitation all institutional, laboratory, hospital, ethical, human and animal treatment, privacy, and all other rules, regulations, laws, procedures or guidelines, applicable to the Article, and that all research involving human and animal subjects has been approved by the Author's relevant institutional review board.
Author Warranties. Author represents and warrants the following to Publisher:
(a) Author is the sole owner of the Work (this includes manuscript, pictures, images, drawings and any other materials submitted to Publisher) and has the full power, authority and right to enter into this Publishing Agreement;
(b) This Agreement does not conflict with any other contracts, understandings, or arrangements between the Author and any other person or entity;
(c) The Work is not in the public domain and is entirely original except for portions thereof for which legally effective written licenses or permissions have been secured;
(d) The Work as submitted, and its publication by Publisher, do not and will not violate or infringe upon any personal or proprietary rights, including without limitation copyrights, trademark rights, trade secret rights, contract rights, privacy rights, or publicity rights of any other persons and entities;
(e) The Work and all the rights in Work are free of liens, claims, interests or rights in others of any kind;
(f) Publisher shall not have any legal responsibility for Author’s Work;
(g) The Work is not defamatory or obscene, or in any other way illegal; and any recipes, formulae, instructions, or recommendations contained in the Work are not and will not be injurious to any reader, user, or third person;
(h) All information submitted to Publisher is entirely accurate to the best knowledge of the Author.
Author Warranties. The Author warrants that:
(a) the Work is original, has been written by the Author, and is not encumbered or subject to any existing license;
(b) the Work is not under consideration by any other publisher;
(c) the Work does not infringe the rights, including copyright, of any third-party;
(d) to the best of the Author’s knowledge the Work contains no defamatory or other unlawful statements; and
(e) all co-author(s) have consented to the Author entering into this Agreement with the University.
Author Warranties. All Copyright Owner(s), if not Author(s): (Please list all copyright owner(s) by name. In the case of a Work Made for Hire, the employer(s) or commissioning party(ies) are the copyright owner(s). For large groups of copyright owners, attach a separate list to this form.)
Author Warranties. AUTHOR represents and warrants that:
(i) AUTHOR is the sole author of the WORK and the sole owner of the copyright in the WORK; AUTHOR either is the sole owner of the copyright and trademark(s) (if any) in any associated cover or interior graphics supplied by AUTHOR for the WORK or has secured written permission (which AUTHOR will furnish to BOOK COUNTRY together with any required third party credits) to use the same in the WORK; and AUTHOR has full power, authority and right to enter into this Agreement and to grant the rights herein granted;
(ii) this Agreement does not conflict with any agreements between AUTHOR and any other person or entity;
(iii) the WORK is not in the public domain and is entirely original except for portions for which legally effective written licenses or permissions have been secured;
(iv) the WORK and all rights therein are free of liens, claims, interests or rights in others of any kind;
(v) the WORK as submitted, and its publication by BOOK COUNTRY, and the WORK’S title do not and will not violate or infringe upon any rights of any other person or entity;
(vi) the WORK is not defamatory, slanderous, libelous, or obscene, or in any other way illegal; and any recipes, formulae, instructions, or recommendations contained in the WORK are not and will not be injurious to any reader, user, or any third person; and
(vii) all information in the submission package is accurate.
Author Warranties. The author(s) represent(s) and warrant(s)
a) That the manuscript submitted is his/her (their) own work;
b) That the work has been submitted only to this journal and that it has not been submitted or published elsewhere;
c) That the article contains no libelous or unlawful statements and does not infringe upon the civil rights of others;
d) That the author(s) is (are) not infringing upon anyone else’s copyright. The authors agree that if there is a breach of any of the above representations and warranties that (s) he (they) will indemnify the publisher, Editor, or guest Editor and hold them harmless.
Author Warranties. 3.1 I hereby represent and warrant:
3.1.1 Authority to enter into this Agreement. I am the owner of Copyright in the Work and have the full power and authority to enter into this Agreement and to grant under it the right to hold and disseminate copies of the Work;
