Authorization of Services – Residential Programs. 1. The Contractor shall implement residential treatment program standards that comply with the authorization of services requirements set forth in Article II.E.4 and shall: i. Establish, and follow, written policies and procedures for processing requests for initial and continuing authorizations of services for residential programs; ii. Ensure that residential services are provided in DHCS or Department of Social Services (DSS) licensed residential facilities that also have DMC certification and have been designated by DHCS as capable of delivering care consistent with ASAM treatment criteria; iii. Ensure that residential services may be provided in facilities with no bed capacity limit; iv. Ensure that the length of residential services comply with the following time restrictions: a. Adults, ages 21 and over, may receive up to two continuous short-term residential regimens per 365-day period. A short-term residential regimen is defined as one residential stay in a DHCS licensed facility for a maximum of 90 days per 365-day period. b. An adult beneficiary may receive one 30 day extension, if that extension is medically necessary, per 365-day period. c. Adolescents, under the age of 21, shall receive continuous residential services for a maximum of 30 days. Adolescent beneficiaries may receive a 30-day extension if that extension is determined to be medically necessary. Adolescent beneficiaries are limited to one extension per year. Adolescent beneficiaries receiving residential treatment shall be stabilized as soon as possible and moved down to a less intensive level of treatment. Nothing in the DMC-ODS or in this paragraph overrides any EPSDT requirements. Adolescent beneficiaries may receive a longer length of stay based on medical necessity d. If determined to be medically necessary, perinatal beneficiaries may receive a longer lengths of stay than those described above. v. Ensure that at least one ASAM level of Residential Treatment Services is available to beneficiaries in the first year of implementation; vi. Demonstrate ASAM levels of Residential Treatment Services (Levels 3.1-3.5) within three years of CMS approval of the county implementation plan and state-county Agreement and describe coordination for ASAM Levels 3.7 and 4.0.

The Contractor’s residential treatment program standards shall: 1) Establish, and follow, written policies and procedures for processing requests for initial and continuing authorizations of services for residential programs; a) Ensure that residential services are provided in DHCS or Department of Social Services (DSS) licensed residential facilities that also have DMC certification and have been designated by DHCS as capable of delivering care consistent with ASAM treatment criteria; b) Ensure that residential services may be provided in facilities with no bed capacity limit; c) Ensure that the length of residential services comply with the following time restrictions: i. Authorization of Services – Residential Programs. In addition to the general authorization of residential services requirements outlined in Section 2.6 of Exhibit A, Attachment I, the Contractor shall comply with the following Contractor specific authorization of residential services requirements: 1) The Contractor shall ensure that all of its providers obtain authorization for residential services prior to admitting a beneficiary. Residential authorization processes shall be completed to assure beneficiaries access medically necessary services in a timely manner. The Contractor shall track all authorization and reauthorization through the Contractor’s electronic health record. The Contractor shall utilize four primary pathways that will support beneficiaries in accessing and receiving timely authorization for residential services. 2) Path 1: Access Call Center - BHRS Care Coordination Team Authorizations: a) Beneficiaries are advised to contact the Access Call Center (ACC) to inquire about services. When the ACC screening yields a residential withdrawal management need, an authorization and referral for Level 3.2 Withdrawal Management is created. When the ACC screenings yields a residential treatment need, an appointment shall be made by the ACC with the BHRS Care Coordination Team, provided the caller is open to exploring a residential placement. A beneficiary shall be offered an evaluation appointment within 24 hours of the initial call with a BHRS care coordinator staff. Evaluation

  • Authorization of Services a. The Contractor and its subcontractors shall have in place, and follow, written authorization policies and procedures. b. The Contractor shall have in effect mechanisms to ensure consistent application of review criteria for authorization decisions. c. The Contractor shall consult with the requesting provider for medical services when appropriate. d. Any decision to deny a service authorization request or to authorize a service in an amount, duration, or scope that is less than requested, shall be made by an individual who has appropriate expertise in addressing the beneficiary’s medical and behavioral health.

  • Authorization to Perform Services The Consultant is not authorized to perform any services or incur any costs whatsoever under the terms of this Agreement until receipt of a written Notice to Proceed from the City.

  • Exclusivity of Services The Subadviser shall devote its best efforts and such time as it deems necessary to provide prompt and expert service to Client and the Fund. The services of Subadviser to be provided hereunder are not to be deemed exclusive and Subadviser shall be free to provide similar services for its own account and the accounts of other persons and to receive compensation for such services. Client acknowledges that Subadviser and its Affiliates and Subadviser's other clients may at any time, have, acquire, increase, decrease or dispose of positions in the same investments which are at the same time being held, acquired for or disposed of under this Agreement for the Fund. Subadviser shall have no obligation to acquire or dispose of a position in any investment pursuant to this Agreement simply because Subadviser, its directors, members, Affiliates or employees invest in such a position for its or their own accounts or for the account of another client.

  • Data Necessary to Perform Services The Trust or its agent shall furnish to USBFS the data necessary to perform the services described herein at such times and in such form as mutually agreed upon.

  • Coordination of Services Consultant agrees to work closely with City staff in the performance of Services and shall be available to City’s staff, consultants and other staff at all reasonable times.

  • Services to Other Clients; Certain Affiliated Activities (a) The relationship between the Asset Manager and the Series is as described in this Agreement and nothing in this Agreement, none of the services to be provided pursuant to this Agreement, nor any other matter, shall oblige the Asset Manager to accept responsibilities that are more extensive than those set forth in this Agreement. (b) The Asset Manager’s services to the Series are not exclusive. The Asset Manager may engage in other activities on behalf of itself, any other Managing Party and other clients (which, for the avoidance of doubt, may include other series of the Company). The Series acknowledges and agrees that the Asset Manager may, without prior notice to the Series, give advice to such other clients. The Asset Manager shall not be liable to account to the Series for any profits, commission or remuneration made or received in respect of transactions effected pursuant to the Asset Manager’s advice to another client and nor will the Asset Manager’s fees be abated as a result.

  • Continuity of Services A. The Contractor recognizes that the service(s) to be performed under this Contract are vital to the State and must be continued without interruption and that, upon Contract expiration, a successor, either the State or another contractor, may continue them. The Contractor agrees to: Furnish phase-in training; and Exercise its best efforts and cooperation to effect an orderly and efficient transition to a successor. B. The Contractor shall, upon the State's written notice: Furnish phase-in, phase-out services for up to sixty (60) days after this Contract expires; and Negotiate in good faith a plan with a successor to determine the nature and extent of phase-in, phase-out services required. The plan shall specify a training program and a date for transferring responsibilities for each division of work described in the plan, and shall be subject to the State's approval. The Contractor shall provide sufficient experienced personnel during the phase-in, phase-out period to ensure that the services called for by this Contract are maintained at the required level of proficiency. C. The Contractor shall allow as many personnel as practicable to remain on the job to help the successor maintain the continuity and consistency of the services required by this Contract. The Contractor also shall disclose necessary personnel records and allow the successor to conduct on-site interviews with these employees. If selected employees are agreeable to the change, the Contractor shall release them at a mutually agreeable date and negotiate transfer of their earned fringe benefits to the successor. D. The Contractor shall be reimbursed for all reasonable phase-in, phase-out costs (i.e., costs incurred within the agreed period after contract expiration that result from phase-in, phase-out operations).

  • TERMINATION OF EFT SERVICES You may terminate this Agreement or any EFT service under this Agreement at any time by notifying us in writing and stopping your use of your card and any access code. You must return all cards to the Credit Union. You also agree to notify any participating merchants that authority to make xxxx payment transfers has been revoked. We may also terminate this Agreement at any time by notifying you orally or in writing. If we terminate this Agreement, we may notify any participating merchants making preauthorized debits or credits to any of your accounts that this Agreement has been terminated and that we will not accept any further preauthorized transaction instructions. We may also program our computer not to accept your card or access code for any EFT service. Whether you or the Credit Union terminates this Agreement, the termination shall not affect your obligations under this Agreement for any electronic transactions made prior to termination.

  • Delegation of Services The Administrator may, at its expense, delegate to one or more entities some or all of the services for the Fund for which the Administrator is responsible under this Subcontract. The Administrator will be responsible for the compensation, if any, of any such entities for such services to the Fund, unless otherwise agreed to by the parties or with the Fund. Notwithstanding any delegation pursuant to this paragraph, the Administrator will continue to have responsibility and liability for all such services provided to the Fund under this Subcontract.
