Common use of Award and Accrual of Sick Leave Clause in Contracts

Award and Accrual of Sick Leave. Sick leave may be earned and used from the first day of employment, after the earned time is credited per the following paragraph, for permanent employees and temporary employees with a specified term of longer than 90 days. Sick leave may be earned from the first day of employment for temporary employees with a specified term of fewer than 90 days, but accrued sick leave may not be used until after 90 days of employment.
