Basic Work Period. The basic work period for bargaining unit employees, with due allowance for authorized holidays and leaves of absence with pay, including but not limited to, paid compensatory time off, paid annual leave, paid sick leave, paid bereavement time, shall be one hundred and sixty (160) hours in a twenty-eight (28) consecutive day period.
