Common use of Basic Work Period Clause in Contracts

Basic Work Period. The basic work period for bargaining unit employees, with due allowance for authorized holidays and leaves of absence with pay, including but not limited to, paid compensatory time off, paid annual leave, paid sick leave, paid bereavement time, shall be one hundred and sixty (160) hours in a twenty-eight (28) consecutive day period.

Basic Work Period. 6.1.1. The basic work period for bargaining unit employees, with due allowance for authorized holidays and leaves of absence with pay, including but not limited to, paid compensatory time off, paid annual leave, paid sick leave, paid bereavement timeleave, shall be one hundred and sixty consist of eighty (16080) hours in a twenty-eight fourteen (2814) consecutive day period. Each unit employee shall also be required to report ten (10) minutes prior to the scheduled start of the unit employee‟s shift.
