Benefit Plan Coverage – Unpaid Leaves. Except where provided otherwise in this Agreement, while on any unpaid leave (including unpaid sick leave under Article 23.08) an Employee may continue participation in eligible benefit plans provided that the Employee is responsible for paying both the Employer and the Employee’s shares of premium costs for maintaining such coverage for which the Employee is eligible during the period of leave.

Benefit Plan Coverage – Unpaid Leaves. Except where provided otherwise in this Agreement, while on any unpaid leave (including unpaid sick leave under Article 23.0823.09) an Employee employee may continue participation in eligible benefit plans provided that the Employee employee is responsible for paying both the Employer and the Employeeemployee’s shares of premium costs for maintaining such coverage for which the Employee employee is eligible during the period of leave. To ensure continued coverage the employee is responsible for making suitable arrangements with the Employer for payment of premiums prior to commencement of the leave where possible but in no event later than fifteen (15) days following commencing the leave.
