Common use of Benefits Advisory Committee Clause in Contracts

Benefits Advisory Committee. The Benefits Advisory Committee (BAC) will be comprised of nurses and other hospital employees with the objective to advise human resources on employee benefit offerings. The BAC will act in an advisory capacity within its assigned scope. Committee recommendations will not be binding on administration, but the expectation is that the views of the committee will have an important influence on policies and procedures related to matters within the mission and scope of the BAC. The members of the committee should report to and seek the views of other employee groups. The President of the Local Bargaining Unit will be notified at least 14 days in advance to attend or have a designee participate in the committee.
