Common use of Benefits/Layoff Clause in Contracts

Benefits/Layoff. When an Employee is on short-term illness and is deemed eligible for long-term disability and is laid off, the Employee shall be covered by both short-term and long-term benefits until termination of illness or disability entitlement. When such an Employee has recovered or is capable of returning to work the Employee shall be covered by the provisions of Article 30:
