Benefits Upon Retirement. An employee with benefits who elects to retire and who meets the criteria set out in Clause 24.8 shall be entitled: (a) to maintain coverage for herself and her family on the medical and extended health care plans for a period of six months following date of retirement; OR (b) be deemed as a retiree under the benefits plan.
