Common use of Benefits While on Maternity (Pregnancy) and/or Parental Leave Clause in Contracts

Benefits While on Maternity (Pregnancy) and/or Parental Leave. While on Maternity (Pregnancy) Leave and/or Parental Leave as provided under this Section, an employee will earn vacation leave credits and be entitled to continued coverage under all benefit plans. If the employee does not wish to continue contributions to the Pension Plan, the employee may opt out of the Plan. An employee choosing to opt out of the Pension Plan must do so in writing.
