Common use of Bid Phase Clause in Contracts

Bid Phase. The ARCHITECT/ENGINEER, following the OWNER'S approval of the Construction Documents and the estimate of Construction Costs, will assist the OWNER and CONTRACTOR in obtaining bids or negotiated proposals and in awarding and preparing construction contracts. The ARCHITECT/ENGINEER will be present on the occasion of any pre-bid conference and bid opening for the Project. The ARCHITECT/ENGINEER in coordination with OWNER, will respond to questions from bidders, and will issue addenda.
