Biological objectives. The Chelan River restoration plan is designed to achieve certain biological objectives concerning restoration and/or enhancement of biological resources in four separate reaches of the river and to support, maintain, and protect the designated and existing beneficial uses of the Chelan River basin, pursuant to applicable federal and State law. The biological objectives that Chelan PUD shall attempt to achieve for each reach are set forth in detail in section 4 of Chapter 7 of the Comprehensive Plan. The Parties believe that achievement of these biological objectives, through implementation of this License Article, would substantially restore a significant number of environmental values associated with the Chelan River.
