BOOTH CONSTRUCTION Clause Samples
The BOOTH CONSTRUCTION clause defines the requirements and standards for building and setting up exhibition booths at an event or trade show. It typically outlines specifications such as booth dimensions, materials allowed, safety regulations, and deadlines for setup and dismantling. For example, it may require exhibitors to use flame-retardant materials or restrict the height of booth structures. The core function of this clause is to ensure uniformity, safety, and compliance with venue rules, thereby preventing disputes and maintaining a professional event environment.
BOOTH CONSTRUCTION. Exhibitor is expected to comply with booth construction regulations outlined in the Exhibitor Manual. It is Exhibitor’s responsibility to provide these regulations to its Exhibitor Appointed Contractor (EAC).
BOOTH CONSTRUCTION. Each booth must have flame-proof drapes. Exhibitors using multiple spaces are required to inform the Headlight Herald if they want dividers between booths removed prior to the show. Drapes 8 feet high in the back and 36 inches on the sides are provided to each exhibitor. If an exhibitor has a pre- constructed booth or display that is over 36 inches tall on the sides, it must be pre-approved by the show committee. All outside vendors are located on the north and east sides of the building. If you are unfamiliar with the grounds contact a your advertising representative from the Headlight Herald upon your arrival.
BOOTH CONSTRUCTION. Single booth size will be 10’ x 8’, unless otherwise indicated on the floor plan which is an official addendum to this contract. The following standard decoration for each booth will be furnished: Three feet (3’) high draped side divider, and eight feet (8’) high draped backdrop. For exhibitors using multiple booths, backdrop draperies and side rails will be furnished as requested. Exhibits shall be constructed and arranged so that they do not obstruct the general view nor hide other exhibits. Any portion of the exhibit, including the back or side of a custom built display that is exposed to the adjacent booth or to the public, must be finished with appropriate material or paint.
BOOTH CONSTRUCTION. The display space is carpeted. Booths must not obstruct the view or interfere with the displays of neighboring booths. All exposed areas of the booth must be finished surfaces, including back and sides. Any part of the booth needing a finished surface two hours before the show opening will be draped at the expense of the Exhibitor. The Association will decide whether such drape is needed. The Association retains sole discretion and authority in the placement, arrangement, and appearance of all displays.
BOOTH CONSTRUCTION. The exhibitor shall construct and arrange its booth(s) to accommodate its viewing audience within its booth(s) and discourage the formation of a standing crowd in the aisles. The exhibitor shall make its construction substantial and fixed in position for the duration of the ENDOExpo. Exhibitors must keep any construction over 3 ft. in height within 5 ft. of the rear of the booth. Exhibits that violate local, state, or federal laws or regulations, including safety codes, are prohibited, and will not be tolerated. Combustible decorations of any kind are prohibited. Exhibitors shall drape all exposed or unfinished sides and exhibit backgrounds to present an attractive appearance. Exhibitors with in-line/corner booths cannot construct booth(s) exceeding 8 ft. in height. Exhibitors with inline/corner booths along any outside walls or outside borders of the exhibit area may construct booth(s) that exceed 12 ft. with approval from the Endocrine Society. Hanging signs are not permitted over linear/corner booth(s). An “endcap” is defined as a 10’ x 20’ space having 3 aisles facing toward the cross aisle at end of a row of traditional 10’ x 10’ linear booths. Exhibitors with endcap booth(s) with any portion of its exhibit bordering another Exhibitor’s booth shall have the back side of the bordering portion finished. The bordering portion must not carry identification signs or other copies that would detract from the adjoining exhibit. The back wall is limited to 10-ft. wide, 8-ft. high, centered across the 20-ft. back-wall area. All display fixtures over 36 inches high must be confined to those areas of the booth that are at least 5 ft. from the aisle line to avoid blocking the sightline from the aisle to the adjoining booth. Exhibitors adjoining an endcap exhibitor are entitled to the same reasonable sightline from the aisle as would be expected were they adjacent to an exhibitor with a standard booth. Hanging signs are not permitted over end cap booths. Because an island booth is separated from all neighboring exhibits by the width of an aisle, Exhibitor with island booth(s) may use the floor space. However, the design of the booth must allow for see- through visibility and accessibility from all 4 sides. Island booths may not exceed 16 ft. in height. A schematic of the exhibit must be approved by the Endocrine Society prior to exhibit installation. Hanging signs are permitted.
