Common use of BUMPING INTO A DIFFERENT CLASSIFICATION Clause in Contracts

BUMPING INTO A DIFFERENT CLASSIFICATION. An employee may not bump into another classification unless the employee has classification seniority within the classification that he/she wishes to bump into. Employees who have been bumped out of their classification have the opportunity to bid on job openings in any classification if they should become available.
