Bus Rules. Remain seated & facing the front of the bus. Listen for instructions. No loud conversation or unnecessary noise. No eating on the bus. Keep all parts of your body inside the bus. Do not bother the driver or other students. Conduct yourself at all times so as not to become a hindrance to the safe transportation of students. OPUSD uses Southwinds/Tumbleweed Transportation, as examples.
Bus Rules. The bus is an extension of the school setting with all rules of behavior for the school in effect on the bus. Disorderly conduct or refusing to respect the authority of the school bus driver shall be sufficient reason for the pupil to be denied transportation. The school bus driver may assign seats. All students who will ride the bus should become familiar with the bus rules for their safety, as well as others. The following bus rules are posted in all school buses and must be followed at all times. Bus drivers will make every attempt to ensure that students are familiar with the bus rules.

Please ensure that all members of the group are present and ready to depart at each of the times set forth for departure in this itinerary. PA and the bus company are not responsible for late passengers. Neither refund, nor exchange is authorized for participants who miss a scheduled departure.

Bus Rules. The arrival time of the school buses should stabilize after the first week of school, but may still vary to some degree due to weather, traffic conditions, or other circumstances. Parents are responsible for having their child at the bus stop on time. Buses will not wait beyond their regular schedules for those who are tardy.

The privilege of riding the bus is extended to all students who consistently uphold the expected standards of personal conduct on the bus.
