Business Day Definition. Business Day means (a) in relation to any payment in euros a day on which TARGET 2 (the Trans-European Automated Real-time Gross Settlement Express Transfer System) is open, (b) in relation to any payment in any other currency a day (other than a Saturday or a Sunday) on which commercial banks are open for business (including payments in the currency concerned as well as dealings in foreign exchange and foreign currency deposits) in the place(s) specified in the Confirmation relating to the relevant Transaction or, if not so specified, in the place where the relevant account is located and, if different, in the principal financial centre, if any, of the currency of such payment. 4.
