Buy-back Days. Buy-back days will be “site driven,” so that the timing and specific needs of each site remain, to the extent reasonably possible, controlled by each individual site. The days will be scheduled in hourly increments, at times after school, or at other non-contract times depending on the needs and determination of each site. Teachers will receive their daily rate of pay, paid on schedule and attendance will be mandatory. Teachers out on any leave during a scheduled buy-back activity shall be responsible for doing the makeup activities or they will be docked for an equivalent amount of time. The sites will provide makeup activities. Teachers will utilize one of the three buyback days as a staff development activity of their choice, with the following conditions:
