Calculation of an Average Day’s Pay. (a) An average day’s pay shall be understood to mean an employee’s total hourly earnings, exclusive of overtime, for the hours he/she has worked in the thirty (30) calendar day period immediately preceding the day in which the Statutory Holiday occurs, divided by twenty (20) to establish the hours to be paid for the Statutory Holiday. (b) Total hourly earnings includes all wages, premiums, payments in lieu of benefits, sick pay, short-term disability pay, statutory holiday pay, vacation pay and time spent booked off on Union leave but does not include overtime.

  • Wage Rates Contractor shall post a copy of the wage rates at the job site and shall pay the adopted prevailing wage rates as a minimum. Pursuant to the provisions of Section 1773 of the Labor Code of the State of California, the Board of Supervisors has obtained the general prevailing rate of per diem wages and the general prevailing rate for holiday and overtime work in this locality for each craft, classification, or type of xxxxxxx needed to execute this Contract from the Director of the Department of Industrial Relations. These rates are on file with the Clerk of the Board of Supervisors. Copies may be obtained at cost at the office of County's OC Public Works/OC Facilities & Asset Management/A&E Project Management or visit the website of the Department of Industrial Relations, Prevailing Wage Unit at xxx.xxx.xx.xxx/XXXX/XXX.   • Accrual of Annual Leave (a) An employee shall accrue an amount of paid annual leave, for each completed 4 week period of continuous service with the employer, of 1/13 of the number of ordinary hours worked by the employee for the employer during that 4 week period. (b) Annual leave shall accrue on a pro-rata basis and be credited to the employee monthly.
