Calculation of Sick Leave, Increments and Vacation. For the purposes of computing sick leave, increments and vacation entitlement, an employee who commences employment during the period from the first (1st) to the fifteenth (15th) of the month will receive credit for the month's service. Employees commencing employment from the sixteenth (16th) to the end of the month will be considered as commencing their service, for sick leave and vacation purposes, on the first (1st) day of the following month.
