Common use of CalPERS Reporting Clause in Contracts

CalPERS Reporting. The parties agree that to the extent permitted by law, the value of the compensation for Police Liaison Premium Pay is special compensation and shall be reported as such to CalPERS pursuant to Title 2 CCR, Section 571(a)(4) - Special Assignment Pay. Police Liaison Premium Pay shall be reported to CalPERS periodically when earned, on a per pay period basis. However, the City makes no representations or guarantees whatsoever with respect to whether CalPERS shall include said Police Liaison Premium Pay as compensation for purposes of benefit determination and CalPERS shall make the sole determination as to inclusion.
