Common use of Cancellation of adoption leave Clause in Contracts

Cancellation of adoption leave. (a) Adoption leave, applied for but not commenced, shall be cancelled should the placement of the child not proceed. (b) Where the placement of a child for adoption purposes with an employee then on adoption leave does not proceed or continue, the employee shall notify the employer forthwith and the employer shall nominate a time not exceeding 2 weeks from receipt of notification for the employee's resumption of work.
