Cancellation or Expiration of the Order. If a stop work order issued under this clause is canceled at any time during the period specified in the order, or if the period of the order or any extension of thereof expires, Vendor shall have the right to return to work. An appropriate adjustment shall be made in the delivery schedule or Vendor price, or both, and the contract shall be modified in writing accordingly, if; the stop work order results in an increase in the time required for, or in the Vendor’s cost properly allocable to, the performance of any part of this contract and, Vendor asserts a claim for such an adjustment within 30 days after the end of the period of work stoppage; provided that, upon approval, any such claim asserted may be received and acted upon at any time prior to final payment under this contract.

If a stop performance order issued under this section is cancelled at any time during the period specified in the order, or if the period of the order or any extension thereof expires, the CONTRACTOR shall have the right to resume performance. An appropriate adjustment shall be made in the delivery schedule or contract price, or both, and the Contract shall be modified in writing accordingly, if:
(1) The stop performance order results in an increase in the time required for, or in the CONTRACTOR'S cost properly allocable to, the performance of any part of this Contract; and
(2) The CONTRACTOR asserts a claim for such an adjustment within thirty (30) days after the end of the period of performance stoppage; provided that, if the Agency procurement officer decides that the facts justify such action, any such claim asserted may be received and acted upon at any time prior to final payment under this Contract.

Contractor/Vendor asserts a claim for such an adjustment within 30 days after the end of the period of work stoppage; provided that, if the Chief Procurement Officer decides that the facts justify such action, any such claim asserted may be received and acted upon at any time prior to final payment under this contract.

An appropriate adjustment may be made in the Period of Performance or Maximum Amount, or both, and the Agreement shall be modified in writing accordingly if:
i. The stop work order results in an increase in the time required for, or in SUBRECIPIENT’s cost properly allocable to, the performance of any part of this Agreement; and
ii. SUBRECIPIENT provides a written claim for such an adjustment within thirty (30) days after the end of the period of work stoppage; provided that MDEQ decides that the facts justify such action and any such claim asserted may be received and acted upon at any time prior to final payment under this Agreement.

ii. the Consultant asserts a claim for such an adjustment within 30 days after the end of the period of work stoppage; provided that, if the DOM decides that the facts justify such action, any such claim asserted may be received and acted upon at any time prior to final payment under this Contract.

If a stop work order issued under this clause is canceled at any time during the period specified in the order, or if the period of the order or any extension thereof expires and the Agreement has not been terminated, the SUB-GRANTEE shall have the right to resume work.

An appropriate adjustment shall be made in the time required for completion of the work, and the Grant Agreement shall be modified in writing accordingly, if the Grantee asserts a claim for such adjustment within 30 days after the period of work stoppage; provided that if the MDMR determines that the facts justify such action, any such claim asserted may be received and acted upon at any time prior to final payment under this Grant Agreement. In no event will the MDMR be responsible for additional costs allocable to the work covered by the order during the period of work stoppage.
