Carrying over of holidays. 1 The guiding principle is that holidays must be taken in the calendar year during which the holiday entitlement is acquired. If they are not, the employee and his superior shall consult to make arrangements as to when to take any unused holidays from the previous calendar year or, where applicable, earlier calendar years.
