Common use of Cash-In of Annual Leave Clause in Contracts

Cash-In of Annual Leave. An employee, upon written request to the Agency Head to which they are assigned, shall be permitted to cash-in their annual leave, up to twice a calendar year, provided the request is made ten (10) days in advance of the next payroll period, and the employee retains eighty (80) hours of annual leave in the employee’s annual leave account. The leave cash- in is subject to cash availability and budgetary limitations. In the event of a bona fide emergency situation, the ten (10) calendar day notice may be waived.
