Taking of Annual Leave. (a) An employee is entitled to take an amount of annual leave during a particular period if: (i) at least that amount of annual leave is credited to the employee; and (ii) the employer has authorised the employee to take the annual leave during that period. (b) In the taking of leave, the employee shall make written application to the employer, giving timely notice of the desired period of such leave. (c) Annual leave shall be taken in an amount and at a time which is approved by the employer subject to the operational requirements of the workplace. The employer shall not unreasonably withhold or revoke such approval.

Taking of Annual Leave. (i) The Employer and Employee shall seek to reach agreement on the taking of annual leave at a mutually convenient time. (ii) If agreement cannot be reached, the Employee who wishes to access Annual Leave shall give four (4) weeks’ notice to the Employer or less by agreement.

(d) The amount of annual leave loading or penalties paid to an Employee in accordance with subclause 53.7 in respect of a period of annual leave that is subsequently converted to another type of leave will be deducted from any future entitlement under subclause 53.1 or payment upon termination of employment, where applicable. (e) The Employer and an Employee may agree to defer the payment of annual leave loading in respect of single day annual leave absences until at least five annual leave days are taken by the Employee. (f) No Manager or Administrative Worker will be recalled from annual leave, other than by mutual agreement between the Employer and Manager or Administrative Worker. The Employer will reimburse the Manager or Administrative Worker for any expenses incurred by the Manager or Administrative Worker as a result of a return to duty from a period of annual leave. Unsatisfied leave arising from a recall to duty will be fulfilled as soon as possible thereafter, by agreement between the Employer and Manager or Administrative Worker.
Taking of Annual Leave. (a) Other than the Easter and Christmas Shutdown outlined in clause 38.7, the Employer and Employee shall seek to reach agreement on the taking of annual leave at a mutually convenient time. The Employer will not otherwise unreasonably refuse an Employee’s request to take annual leave. (b) The Employer cannot otherwise direct an Employee to take Annual Leave unless the Employer directs an Employee to take excessive accrued Annual Leave in accordance with clauses 38.6 – 38.8 of the Award.
Taking of Annual Leave. Annual leave shall be taken at a mutually agreeable time which best meets the needs of the business; provided that the Employer may direct, at its discretion, the employee to take annual leave at any time, in accordance with the Australian Fair Pay and Conditions Standard as specified in the Workplace Relations Act (Cth) 1996. Annual leave will normally be taken in at least one (1)-week blocks, however a lesser period may be agreed between the Employer and the employee where emergent circumstances require such lesser period.

Taking of Annual Leave. 9.2.1 The employer shall not unreasonably refuse a request by the employee to take an amount of accrued annual leave. 9.2.2 The amount of annual leave authorised will be in accordance with business operating requirements for which 14 days notice of leave will normally be required. However shorter notice periods may be authorised taking into account the specific circumstances of the parties concerned 9.2.3 Annual leave must be taken within 12 months of the leave accruing for which a minimum period of 3 days will normally apply unless ‘mutually agreed’ otherwise. 9.2.4 The employee must take Annual Leave as directed in circumstances where the business, or any part of the business, shuts down for a period or for extended periods of accrued leave in excess of 8 weeks.
