Change in hours worked. i) Where a Regular Parttime employee's core hours are increased such that the employee qualifies for the benefits in paragraph (a), the employee's current service shall count towards the benefit eligibility periods. ii) Where a Regular Parttime employee's core hours are reduced such that the employee no longer qualifies for the benefits in Paragraph (a), the benefit coverage will cease at the end of the month in which the hours are reduced and the employee shall be paid a percentage in lieu of benefits pursuant to Paragraph (c) commencing on the first of the month following the expiry of the benefit coverage.
