PART-TIME EMPLOYEE BENEFITS. Regular part time employees shall be provided the opportunity to purchase benefits of one of the plans described in Article XVII, Sections B and C at the Employer plan’s premium cost. The Employer will pay the Employer’s monthly share of the premium cost at a ratio proportionate to the employee’s part time condition of employment contingent upon receipt of the employee’s yearly share of the employee’s premium.
PART-TIME EMPLOYEE BENEFITS. Incumbents of part-time permanently allocated positions shall continue to receive all currently prorated benefits provided by the County. In addition, the County shall pay one-half (½) of the health insurance benefit contribution for each such part-time employee who regularly works fifty percent (50%) or more of the hours required of full-time employees. The County shall continue to pay the full health insurance contribution for employees who regularly work eighty percent (80%) or more of the hours required of full-time employees. Health insurance coverage shall be optional for part-time employees who regularly work fifty percent (50%) or more of the hours required of full-time employees. When such employee options for health insurance coverage, such employee shall be required to pay one-half (½) the current employee premium rate. Eligible part-time employees may also enroll dependents on the same basis as full-time employees. Part-time employees who regularly work less than fifty percent (50%) of the hours required of full-time employees shall not be eligible for health insurance coverage. Employees occupying permanently allocated positions who work eighty percent (80%) or more of a full-time position shall be credited with eight (8) hours of holiday pay; the above employees who work less than eighty percent (80%) of a full-time position shall be credited with four (4) hours of holiday pay.
PART-TIME EMPLOYEE BENEFITS. Regular part time employees who work at least four hours per day shall be provided the opportunity to purchase benefits at one of the plans described in Article XVI, Sections B. C, and D at the Employer plan’s premium cost.

Part-time employees who regularly work less than fifty percent (50%) of the hours required of full-time employees shall not be eligible for health insurance coverage.
PART-TIME EMPLOYEE BENEFITS. 28.1 Part-time permanent positions shall receive pro-rata benefits if the position is scheduled to be, and in fact involve, twenty-four (24) or more hours of work per week on average. The pro-rating shall apply to all benefits available to permanent personnel, including pro-rating of Employer contributions to health insurance pursuant to Section 28.3. Benefits shall not be available on a pro-rated basis for positions that are designed to be temporary and which in fact involve assignments of personnel on a substitute basis for any duration in which a permanent employee has a right to return. All permanent part-time employees shall receive pro-rata benefits after successful completion of 1,040 (one thousand forty) accumulative hours to the employer. Benefits shall begin the month following the completion of 1,040 (one thousand forty) hours.
28.2 The training benefit available for persons holding positions requiring certification shall also be available on pro-rate basis for part-time permanent personnel serving twenty-four (24) hours or more per week. The computation of the necessary number of hours per week shall be based on a calendar quarter average.
28.3 Permanent part-time employees, after successful completion of 1,040 (one-thousand forty) accumulative hours, who work less than 1,040 (one-thousand forty) hours in a calendar shall not qualify for pro-rata Cafeteria Plan benefits the following calendar year.
28.4 shift differential pay as defined in “Appendix A” applies to all part-time employees in the same manner as full-time employees.
PART-TIME EMPLOYEE BENEFITS. Part-time Employees shall be entitled to sick leave, leave for jury service, leave for military service, leave for educational meetings, Association leave days, and Association president leave days as provided herein. However, such Employees shall accrue such benefits only in proportion to the number of hours they are scheduled to work as compared to a full-time Employee. (For example, a part-time Employee normally scheduled to work one-third (1/3) of the normal scheduled workday will receive only one-third (1/3) pay for each day of such benefits.) Part-time Employees shall be eligible for health and accident insurance, life insurance, Four Seasons Association participation, extra duty pay, designated committees pay, compensation for performing hourly educational assignments, participation in the tax sheltered annuity program for Employees who work one thousand (1,000) hours or more annually, and travel allowance as provided elsewhere herein. Part-time Employees shall be entitled to one (1) personal leave day. Part-time Employees shall not be entitled to sabbatical leave, leave to serve in the General Assembly, and general leaves.
PART-TIME EMPLOYEE BENEFITS. Part-time employees who have completed the required one-year probationary period and who are regularly scheduled to work thirty hours or more per week shall receive pro-rata benefits under this Agreement.
PART-TIME EMPLOYEE BENEFITS. Part‐time employees regularly scheduled to work sixteen (16) or more hours per week and desiring medical, dental and life insurance may sign up for the Hospital's flexible benefits plan and the Hospital will pay for one‐half (1/2) of the employee only premium, with the remainder to be paid by the employee.
PART-TIME EMPLOYEE BENEFITS. All employees who work part-time and who are entitled to any of the benefits of this Agreement shall have those benefits prorated.
PART-TIME EMPLOYEE BENEFITS. Regular employees working less than a full schedule shall be entitled to all benefits provided in this contract on a reduced time or payment basis computed on the ratio of part-time compensation received to normal, full-time compensation, except that employees who work less than 50% time are not entitled to receive health and welfare or retirement benefits.
