CHANGE IN TYPE OF SHIFT. When, in the interest of efficiency of operations, the Business Unit assigns an employee in any occupation from one type of shift to another in the same occupation it will, to the extent permitted by the requirements of operations, have regard to the seniority ranking of the employees reasonably available. Where the Company reduces the size of a crew in an underground workplace it shall have regard to the seniority ranking of the employees in the crew.
