Changes Required to Meet Construction Budget. If the lowest responsible bid exceeds one hundred ten percent (110%) of the Construction Budget, Architect shall revise the scope of the project for re-bidding at no additional expense to the District. The District shall approve or disapprove, in its sole discretion, all proposed changes to the scope intended to effect cost reduction and no such changes shall be effective until approved by the District.

Changes Required to Meet Construction Budget. If the lowest responsible bid, the preconstruction estimate as validated by the District, or the GMP exceeds one hundred ten percent (110%) of the Construction Budget, Construction Manager shall work with the Architect to revise the scope and/or design of the Project at no additional expense to the District. The District shall approve or disapprove, in its sole discretion, all proposed changes to the scope and/or design intended to effect cost reduction and no such changes shall be effective until approved by the District.
