Changing Classrooms. In the event that a teacher is required to change classrooms, the timeline for notification by the District to the employee shall not extend beyond the last day of school. The affected teacher shall receive an additional three (3) full days of pay at the regular hourly rate. If the change occurs during the school year the affected teach shall have three (3) release days allotted for the move. In all cases, the teacher will be given a reasonable opportunity to participate in organizing the move. The above timeline may be extended by the District beyond the last day of school in the case of an unforeseeable emergency. In this case the affected teacher will receive a total of eight (8) days of pay at the regular hourly rate.
