Common use of Chief Stewards Clause in Contracts

Chief Stewards. leave of absence with current pay, benefits and without loss of seniority will be granted to members of the Bargaining Committee for up to an aggregate total of twenty-four (24) hours per contract year, to deal with Collective Agreement related problems at work sites within the contract area. Further leaves will be granted as required per Clause 2.10(a)(2).
