Common use of Childcare days Clause in Contracts

Childcare days. Employees and employees in training with a minimum of 9 months’ seniority, who are entitled to take children's first day of sickness off, are entitled to 2 childcare days per holiday period. The employee may take no more than 2 childcare days per holiday year irrespective of how many children the employee has. The rule applies to children under 14 years of age. The days are scheduled by agreement between the employer and the employee considering the company's interests. Childcare days are without pay, but the employee may take out an amount from his/her Free Choice Account.
