Claims for Adjustment to the Contract Price. If the Contractor wishes to make a claim for an increase in the Contract Price, as a condition precedent to any liability of the City therefor, the Contractor shall give the City written notice of such claim within seven (7) days after the occurrence of the event, or the first appearance of the condition, giving rise to such claim. Such notice shall be given by the Contractor before proceeding to execute any additional or changed Work. After giving such notice, no later than seven (7) days after the completion or cessation of the event or condition that gave rise to such claim, Contractor shall submit to the City a written claim detailing the Contractor’s request for adjustment to the Contract Price. Contractor’s written claim shall be in such form and include such backup and supporting documentation as the City may request. The failure by the Contractor to give the City written notice or to submit its written claim in accordance with the requirements of this provision shall result in waiver and release of any claim Contractor may have for any adjustment to the Contract Price. .

  • THE CONTRACT PRICE A. This Contract is an indefinite-quantity contract for construction work and services. The Estimated Annual Value of this Contract is $2,000,000. This is only an estimate and may increase or decrease at the discretion of Sourcewell.

  • Contract Term Adjustment “Contract Term Adjustment” means adjustment only as provided for in the three circumstances described in this Subsection. Under these circumstances, the contract term shall be adjusted in writing to include additional calendar days in one or more Normal Operating Seasons equal to the actual time lost, except as limited by paragraph (b) in this Subsection. To qualify for such adjustment, Purchaser shall give written notice of the lost time not later than 30 days after end of Normal Operating Season in which time was lost and at least 10 days before Termination Date. Contracting Officer shall make prompt written acknowledgment of such notice, indicating concurrence with the number of days in the notice or the number of days Forest Service considers as qualifying for the adjustment. Lost portions of days shall be disregarded in computing time lost. The three circumstances qualifying for a Contract Term Adjustment are:
