MAINTENANCE OF CONTRACT COST RECORDS. The SPONSOR shall maintain all books, documents, papers, accounting records, and other evidence pertaining to costs incurred on the project and shall make such material available at all reasonable times during this period of the contract, and for three years from the date of final payment under the contract, for inspection by the DEPARTMENT, and any reviewing agencies, and copies thereof shall be furnished upon request. The SPONSOR agrees that the provisions of the Article shall be included in any contracts it may make with any subcontractor, assignee, or transferee.

MAINTENANCE OF CONTRACT COST RECORDS. The SPONSOR shall maintain all books, documents, papers, accounting records, and other evidence pertaining to costs incurred on the PROJECT and used in support of its proposal and shall make such material available at all reasonable times during the period of the Agreement, and for three years from the date of final payment under the Agreement, for inspection by the DEPARTMENT and any reviewing agencies, and copies thereof shall be furnished upon request. The SPONSOR agrees that the provisions of this Article shall be included in any Agreement it may make with any subcontractor, assignee, or transferee. An Audit of the Agreement shall be provided by the SPONSOR. The audit shall be conducted by an independent accountant or accounting firm in accordance with audit requirements, 49 CFR 18.26 and OMB Circular 128 or any revision or supplement thereto. PROJECT costs shall be documented within the OMB Circular 128 audit. An audit shall be submitted to the DEPARTMENT in a timely manner in each of the SPONSOR's fiscal years for the period of the Agreement.
MAINTENANCE OF CONTRACT COST RECORDS. The DESIGNATED AGENCY shall maintain all books, documents, papers, accounting records, and other evidence pertaining to costs incurred on the PROJECT and shall make material available at all reasonable times during this period of the Agreement, and for three years from the date of final payment under the Agreement, for inspection by the DEPARTMENT, and the Federal Highway Administration and any reviewing agencies, and copies thereof shall be furnished upon request. The DESIGNATED AGENCY shall certify that items of equipment included in direct costs have been excluded from the indirect costs. The DESIGNATED AGENCY agrees that the provisions of this Article shall be included in any contracts it may make with any subcontractor, assignee, or transferee.

The Contractor agrees that the provisions of this Subparagraph shall be included in any agreement it may make with any Subcontractor, assignee, or transferee.

The LOCAL GOVERNMENT agrees that the provisions of this Article shall be included in any Agreement it may make with any engineering firm, contractor, subcontractor, assignee, or transferee. The LOCAL GOVERNMENT shall provide any and all information and/or documentation requested by GDOT or GSFIC, when either state agency is complying with the requirements of O.C.G.A. § 48-8-249(d).
