CLASSROOM FREEDOM. A Faculty Member shall be free to determine on the basis of his/her special academic competence the content of his/her teaching without undue restraint other than that required by nature of the curriculum. Each individual’s dignity and beliefs shall at all times be honored in that the right of both the student and instructor to seek the truth, to reason and to participate freely in discourse shall not be abridged in the course of that inquiry.
