Cleaning programs. Cleaning and disinfection programs should be in place to ensure that any necessary cleaning and maintenance is carried out effectively and appropriately. Cleaning and disinfection systems should be monitored for effectiveness and should be regularly reviewed and adapted to reflect changing circumstances. Specific recommendations are as follows: • Harvesting equipment and re-usable containers that come in contact with fresh fruits and vegetables should be cleaned, and, where appropriate, disinfected on a regular basis. • Harvesting equipment and re-usable containers used for fresh fruits and vegetables that are not washed prior to packing should be cleaned and disinfected as necessary.

  • Training Programs All employees shall successfully complete all necessary training prior to being assigned work (e.g., all employees will complete health and safety training prior to being assigned to task). Nothing in this Article or provision shall constitute a waiver of either party’s bargaining obligations or defenses. Incentives for participation in such programs may include limited short-term improvements to the benefits outlined in this Article.
