Closing Workshop. On September 30, 2007, a full day closing workshop was held in Hotel Yak Palace, Pulchowk, to officially mark the completion period of BDS-MaPS project. The objectives of the workshop were as follows;

Closing Workshop. A closing workshop will be organized at the end of the 24 months period of the project. It will aim at: i) presenting the final outcomes and products of METAGORA; ii) analyzing the results of the pilot activities and their global lessons; iii) discussing with key stakeholders- and policy-makers the potential application of methods and tools developed and tested within the project; iv) examining the perspectives for a systematic integration of these methods and tools within existing monitoring mechanisms as well as within regular evaluations of impact of EC policies and programs; v) considering how to build on initial achievements of the pilot project so that progress in DHRG measurement can further be achieved; and vi) proposing orientations for further concrete action.

Closing Workshop. The executing agency will organize a closing workshop at the appropriate time to assess the outcomes achieved, identify additional tasks to guarantee sustainability, and identify and disseminate !essons learned and best practices. The closing workshop will present the findings of the evaluation and involve broad stakeholder participation, including the National Cocoa Alliance.
