Common use of Clothing and Protective Clothing Clause in Contracts

Clothing and Protective Clothing. Clothing worn by employees at work will be neat and appropriate to the employee’s duties. Adequate protective clothing will be provided by the employer when the duties performed by an employee might result in the employee's clothing being soiled, destroyed or rendered unfit for further use. Where employees are required to wear specific clothing or from a collection of specific clothing selected by the employer, the employer will pay the cost of the clothing and any alterations required.
