For the purposes of this article, “co-teaching teaching” is defined as an instructional delivery approach in which two teachers, typically a general education teacher and a special education educators share responsibility teacher, who work together to prepare, organize, and implement instruction for a class that includes students with disabilities in the general education setting. The intent of co-teaching model is to increase student outcomes and includes social emotional wellness and academics.
