Common use of Codebook Structure Clause in Contracts

Codebook Structure. For each variable on the Inpatient Events file, both weighted and unweighted frequencies are provided in the accompanying codebook file. The codebook and data file sequence list variables in the following order: Unique person identifiers Unique hospital inpatient stay identifiers Hospital inpatient stay characteristics variables ICD-9-CM condition and procedure codes Clinical Classification Software (CCS) codes Imputed expenditure variables Weight and variance estimation variables Note that the person identifier is unique within this data year.
