The codebook and data file sequence list variables in the following order: Unique person identifiers Unique hospital inpatient stay identifiers Hospital inpatient stay characteristics variables ICD-9-CM condition and procedure codes Clinical Classification Software (CCS) codes Imputed expenditure variables Weight and variance estimation variables Note that the person identifier is unique within this data year.
