Common use of Coffee Breaks Clause in Contracts

Coffee Breaks. An employee whose shift is four (4) hours or more per day but less than six and one half (6 1/2) is entitled to one (1) fifteen (15) minute paid coffee break. An employee whose shift is six and one half hours (6 1/2) hours or greater is entitled to two (2) fifteen (15) minute paid breaks. No employee will be expected to perform the duties of their job while on break, except in the case of an emergency.
