Commencement of Shifts. Shifts shall commence and end at the employee's regular place of work; or at the job site as designated by the Department Head.

Commencement of Shifts. Shifts shall be generally defined as starting between the following: Day Shift - Commencing 4:00 A.M. to 12:00 P.M. Swing Shift - Commencing 12:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. Graveyard Shift - Commencing 8:00 P.M. to 4:00 A.M. If a shift is scheduled to begin within one hour of the shift time stated above, the peace officer will receive the applicable shift differential.
