Communication and Instructions. The Client and SFM may send to each other instructions, notices, documents or any other communication either by mail, e-mail, through SFM’s dedicated web portal or by fax, PROVIDED ALWAYS, that SFM may send fee notes by e-mail message attachment. The Client and SFM shall keep all instructions, notices, documents or any other communication as a matter of proof. Each communication shall be addressed if to SFM, at its registered office or at such other address as SFM may by notice in writing notify to the Client from time to time and, if to the Client, at his/her address or at such other address as the Client may by notice in writing notify to SFM from time to time, including holding mail instructions that shall be agreed upon in writing. So that SFM may at all times be able to contact the Client should the need arise, the Client agrees to inform SFM immediately upon changing his/her address and e-mail address or telephone/fax number. In the event the Client terminates all SFM services for one or several registered companies, any notice of termination served by email must be sent to xxxxxxx@xxx.xxx.

Communication and Instructions. 6.1 ESL’s communications to you ESL’s formal communications to you will be provided in writing, via Xxxxxx & Co (normally) or direct to you. If ESL sends a communication via Xxxxxx & Co, you are treated as having received it when Xxxxxx & Co receives it (or is deemed to have received it). If ESL sends a communication direct to you, ESL will select a method of communication that complies with the requirements of any applicable law. Where practicable ESL will communicate with you using electronic mail (‘email’), using your last known email address according to its records. Any communication sent by email will be deemed to have been received once your email provider has accepted delivery. If communicating with you by post, ESL will write to you at your last known address for correspondence according to ESL’s records. Any communication sent by post will be deemed to have been received within three business days. Oral statements by ESL or ETL cannot be relied upon unless confirmed by ESL in writing.

  • Background and Instructions History of Agreement- This agreement has been drafted by the Texas Student Privacy Alliance (TXSPA). The Alliance is a collaborative group of Texas school districts that share common concerns around student and data privacy. The Texas K-12 CTO Council is the organization that sponsors the TXSPAand the TXSPA is the Texas affiliate of the national Student Data Privacy Consortium (SDPC). The SDPC works with other state alliances by helping establish common data privacy agreements unique to the jurisdiction of each state. This Texas agreement was drafted specifically for K-12 education institutions and included broad stakeholder input from Texas school districts, statewide associations such as TASB, TASA, and TASBO, and the Texas Education Agency. The purpose of this agreement is to set standards of both practice and expectations around data privacy such that all parties involved have a common understanding of expectations. This agreement also provides a mechanism (Exhibit E- General Offer of Terms) that would allow an Operator to extend the ability of other Texas school districts to be covered under the terms of the agreement should an Operator sign Exhibit E. This mechanism is intended to create efficiencies for both Operators and LEAs and generally enhance privacy practices and expectations for K-12 institutions and for companies providing services to K-12 institutions.

  • Communications and Notices Any notice to the Contractor shall be deemed sufficient when deposited in the United States Mail postage prepaid; faxed; e-mailed; delivered to a telegraph office fee prepaid; or hand-carried and presented to an authorized employee of the Contractor at the Contractor’s address as listed on the signature page of the contract or at such address as the contractor may have requested in writing.
