Community Solar. By signing this Agreement, you authorize Think Energy to share your information with Think’s affiliate, Energywell Community Solar, LLC (“Energywell”), which may contact you to offer a subscription to a community solar program in your area.

Community Solar. Definitions: The following definitions from external sources are incorporated by reference.  “Community Solar,” or “CS,” is a type of net metering that is available to customers pursuant to Section 16-107.5(l) of the Public Utilities Act [220 ILCS 5] and ComEd Rider POGCS [ILL C.C. No. 10, Sheet 344].

Community Solar. US Solar has broad experience in the siting, development, and subscription of community solar projects in Minnesota. Our principals have worked with Fortune 500 companies, municipalities, public and private schools, and utilities across the country. We have contracted with a number of large counties, towns, school districts, and corporations in Minnesota for Solar Garden subscriptions. The US Solar team is truly one of the most experienced teams in Minnesota. Our successful experiences span across the utility-scale, commercial, and residential markets. At the intersection of successful experiences and deep alliance partner relationships, US Solar is uniquely positioned to provide City of Lake Elmo with the highest value. Furthermore, our Minneapolis office is comprised of professionals who were raised in Minnesota, understand the community, and have been involved in Minnesota community solar from the very beginning.

Community Solar. 24. The permanent Community Solar Program as proposed by the Company should be approved, but with the following modifications to the Company's proposal: (1) Language will be added to the proposed tariff allowing transfer of the Community Solar pilot program resource to the extent pilot participants desire to participate under the permanent program terms; (2) permanent program resource construction cannot begin until 70% of a resource for the permanent program is subscribed; (3) shareholders to bear the risk for any undersubscribed portion of the permanent Community Solar program to a 50% undersubscribed threshold, provided, that if the subscription rate falls below 50%, non-participant ratepayers would shoulder the costs; and (4) Market costs and revenues for any undersubscribed portion of a permanent program resource will be allocated to shareholders and not flow through the FAC.
