Compensation for Accrued Leave. 1. Upon separation from employment a non-teaching school employee shall be entitled to compensation at his current rate of pay for all accrued and unused vacation leave to his credit at the time of separation, not to exceed the vacation leave accrued to his credit for the two years immediately preceding his separation and the prorated portion of his earned but unused vacation leave for the current year.

  • HOLIDAY COMPENSATION FOR TIME WORKED 177. Employees required by their respective appointing officers to work on any of the above designated or observed holidays, excepting Fridays observed as holidays in lieu of holidays falling on Saturday, shall be paid extra compensation of one additional day's pay at time- and-one-half the usual rate (i.e. 12 hours pay for 8 hours worked) or a proportionate amount for less than 8 hours worked.
