  • Ten Month Employees Employees appointed on a regular 10-month basis (those employed for the standard academic year beginning September 1 to June 30) generally receive benefits on a pro rata basis except for holiday pay which will be granted for those holidays that fall during the academic year only.

  • Compensation for Unused Sick Leave 1. Employees who enter County service after July 1, 1979, shall not be eligible for compensation for any of their unused sick leave credits.

  • Billing Period The calendar month shall be the standard period for all charges and payments under this Agreement.   • Rest Interval After Overtime An employee required to work overtime adjoining his/her regularly scheduled shift shall be entitled to eight (8) clear hours between the end of the overtime work and the start of his/her next regular shift. If eight (8) clear hours are not provided, overtime rates shall apply to hours worked on the next regular shift.

  • Probation for Newly Hired Employees (a) The Employer may reject a probationary employee for just cause. A rejection during probation shall not be considered a dismissal for the purpose of Article 11.2
