Common use of Compensation for Time Spent Training Clause in Contracts

Compensation for Time Spent Training. Each employee who is directed by a Producer to take the industry-wide “C19” COVID-19 Training course, or who takes the industry-wide “C19” COVID-19 Training course for purposes of initial or continued placement on a roster or Qualification List, shall be paid a stipend of $20.00 for each hour that he or she attends such training outside of his or her employment, unless the employee is otherwise already being paid for the day (e.g., payment of a travel allowance to a performer or payment for a travel day to a member of the crew). No stipend is due if a series contract performer takes training on a day within his/her span. Time spent attending a Producer-specific training course will be treated as work time and paid accordingly.
