Compensation for work out of class. 28 An employee working out of class will be compensated according 29 to the promotional policy above. (See “Section II.C”) Note that if the employee’s pay range 30 and the higher range overlap, the policy provides for an increase of approximately one step; if 31 the ranges do not overlap, the policy generally provides for an increase to the first step of the 32 higher range.
