Compensation for Reimbursable Expenses. 11.8.1 Reimbursable Expenses are in addition to compensation for Basic, Supplemental, and Additional Services and include expenses incurred by the Architect and the Architect’s consultants directly related to the Project, as follows:

Compensation for Reimbursable Expenses. 1. For those Reimbursable Expenses that are not accounted for in the compensation for Basic Services under Paragraph C2.01 and are directly related to the provision of Additional Services, Owner shall pay Engineer at the rates set forth in Appendix 1 to this Exhibit C.
Compensation for Reimbursable Expenses. Reimbursable expenses are in addition to compensation for Design Phase Services and Construction Document and Construction Phase Services and include expenses incurred by the A/E and the A/E’s consultants directly related to the Project. An allowance in the amount of $100,000.00 is established for such reimbursable expenses. In the event that the reimbursable expenses reach the limit of this allowance, the A/E shall notify the District and shall not incur any additional reimbursable expense unless the Department’s CO provides written authorization of an increase in the reimbursable expenses allowance. Reimbursable expenses shall include the following: 1. Permits; 2. Transportation and authorized out-of-town travel and subsistence, provided, however, that local transportation costs (i.e. taxis, parking, etc.) shall not be reimbursable; 3. Fees paid for securing approval of authorities having jurisdiction over the Project; 4. Reproductions, plots, standard form documents; 5. Postage, handling and delivery; 6. Expense of overtime work requiring higher than regular rates, if authorized in advance in writing by the Department, provided, however, that such expenses shall only be reimbursable to the extent that they were caused by the failure of the Department to act within timeframes agreed to by the Parties in advance and in writing; and 7. Additional renderings, models, and mock-ups requested by the Department.
Compensation for Reimbursable Expenses. For Reimbursable Expenses approved in writing by HISD, the reasonable, necessary actual cost to the A/E of the items set out in Sections 9.3.2, 9.3.3, 9.3.4, 9.3.5, 9.3.6, 9.3.7 and 9.3.8.

Compensation for Reimbursable Expenses. A. Owner shall pay Engineer for all Reimbursable Expenses at Engineer’s actual cost, not to exceed the rates set forth in Appendix 1 to this Exhibit C, or at such other actual cost to Engineer. B. Reimbursable Expenses include the following categories: transportation and subsistence incidental thereto; obtaining bids or proposals from Contractor(s); providing and maintaining field office facilities including furnishings and utilities; toll telephone calls and mobile phone charges; reproduction of reports, Drawings, Specifications, Bidding Documents, and similar Project-related items in addition to those required under Exhibit A, and, if authorized in advance by Owner, overtime work requiring higher than regular rates. In addition, if authorized in advance by Owner, Reimbursable Expenses will also include expenses incurred for computer time and the use of other highly specialized equipment. C. The amounts payable to Engineer for Reimbursable Expenses will be the Project-related internal expenses actually incurred or allocated by Engineer, plus all invoiced external Reimbursable Expenses allocable to the Project, all of which Reimbursable Expenses will be detailed in writing and submitted to Owner.

In addition, if authorized in advance by Owner, Reimbursable Expenses will also include expenses incurred for the use of highly specialized equipment. C. The amounts payable to Engineer for Reimbursable Expenses will be the Project-related internal expenses actually incurred or allocated by Engineer, plus all invoiced external Reimbursable Expenses allocable to the Project, the latter multiplied by a factor of 1.0.
Compensation for Reimbursable Expenses. For Reimbursable Expenses as described in Article 7 and Exhibit C, compensation shall be based on a multiple of 1.00 times the amounts expended by the DP, the DP's employees and consultants in the interest of the Project. Said multiple shall be applied to the base amount, excluding State sales tax (if exempt by the Comptroller’s Office as described in paragraph 13.3).
