Compensation for Work Performed on Holidays. Any non-shift employee who is eligible for holiday pay and who shall be required to perform work or to render services on one of the holidays listed in Section 1 of this Article shall receive pay at time and one-half (1 2) for hours worked. The employee shall have the option of requesting equivalent time off with the permission of the Department Head.
