Compensation Plan Changes. Effective the first of the month following the signing of this Agreement, the following classifications shall be CLASS CLASS TITLE SALARY RANGE 8503 Natural Resource Spec. 3 (Hydrogeologist) 27 28 8503 Natural Resource Spec. 3 (Reg.Sanitarian) 27 28 8504 Natural Resource Spec. 4 (Hydrogeologist) 30 31 8504 Natural Resource Spec. 4 (Toxicologist) 30 31 8504 Natural Resource Spec. 4 (Reg.Sanitarian) 30 31 8505 Natural Resource Spec. 5 (Hydrogeologist) 32 33 6503 Physical Therapist 25 29 Effective September 1, 2011, all employees will retain their current salary rate in the new range except that employees whose current rate is below the first step of the new range shall be moved to the first step in the new range and a new salary eligibility of September 1, 2012 will be assigned. For an employee whose rate is within the new salary range, but not at a corresponding salary step, his/her salary shall be adjusted to the next higher rate closest to his/her current salary, effective September 1, 2011. ―Red-circle‖ under Article 81, Section 3 will apply when appropriate, (i.e., in cases of downward reclassification). (See Letter of Agreement 27.00-11-211 in Appendix A.)
